DELTA, Colo – Local hemp manufacturing company, EcoGen Biosciences offers more opportunity and economic diversity to western Colorado.Palisade based EcoGen was acquired by Kadenwood, LLC and following a name change, EcoGen Biosciences calls Delta home. Now fitted with a 170 acre processing facility, the hemp company provides the area with approximately 70 jobs. Some positions require a high school diploma while others require a PhD.At the new facility, EcoGen Biosciences is doing research and development on a number of CBD products but also working collectively with other agriculture businesses in the area to expand the products available.With the new facility, western Colorado could become the epicenter for hemp manufacturing.
